since I updated this thing...anyways heres what went on for the near 2 months i was gone.
iMac;
wow. apple really does a great job in making os x a system for anyone, from a student to a pro photographer. im looking forward to leopard. i think im gonna stick with this system, windows doesnt have anything on mac now. aperture is a livesaver--i can now upload, edit, export and send pictures in half the time and using half the applications at full power. damn.
europe;
as you can see, i formatted most of my current gallery to feature pictures from my month long escape to europe. ill be posting more in the coming days. it really is an amazing place to be in, many changes, cultures, wars, peoples, i really couldnt comprehend it in just thirty days. most of the people are really very nice if you at least try to speak the language (lol in paris...thats another entry), the food is fucking amazing (nordsee), and everything is clean and has good packaging. its a fucking shame that my nikon just had to bust on the SECOND DAY. oh well, at least i had a backup.
in general;
high school starts on the 14th, registration on the 8th, and a orientation on the 10th. im looking forward to it. in the meantime, its biking, organizing, keywording, deleting, archiving all 18,000+ pictures that were taken by the yearbook staff (10000 by me, lol) in aperture and safely locking them up in the Vault. oh and that forsaken summer reading. oh im getting a holga to start my entry into the fray of medium format photography.
